A Family Connection

I have had my Cub for two years (it's now 2021). My interest in Triumph bikes stems from my mother working at the old Meriden factory. She started wiring Cubs in the late 1950’s and probably wired my 1962 SH although there is little of the original left. She later worked on the “engine bench” helping to build the larger engines.
When I saw the Tiger Cub with the registration DP it was a no brainer and I had to buy it. It was in very poor condition and spent a long time at the repair shop (rebuilt engine, overhaul of brakes, conversion to 12v, gearbox recon and many other bits and pieces).
Still having a few little problems as I write, but love it.
