Still riding Cubs after 60 years!

Hi Steve, just to let you know that a Tiger Cub was my first bike that I rode at 16, and I am now 75 and still get a buzz out of the old girl.
I have worked in the motor trade my whole life having stayed with one employer for fifty years. My first bike was a Tiger Cub at the age of 16.
There cannot be a square inch of Kent that I have not ridden the Cub over. My origami bike was a 1959 bike and I rebuilt it at least twice.

I acquired my current Tiger Cub from a bike collection owned by my brother-in-law. I help look after the collection and still ride throughout the year.
My second bike was a model 50 Norton and I still ride and own one. I do all the work on the bikes myself and enjoy working on them as much as riding them.
I am a member of the Vintage Motorcycle Club and ride out on events during the good weather. I still ride in the wet, but not out of choice!

I have fitted a Norton rear carrier on the Cub with two leather side bags and a Norton saddle bag. This means I can carry all the items you may need, spare spark plug, tyre pump, etc.
One tip I will give, and this was learnt in the 60's. I have fitted spare throttle and clutch cables on the bike, so that in the event of a breakage you only have to connect both ends and not remove the fuel tank, etc.
