Tiger Cub T20M WD 1964-67
Strip a T20T engine and fit the internals into a later side-points unit, then fit that into a modified T20M Mountain Cub chassis but add strengthened non-folding footrests, a larger 1/2 x 5/16 inch chain instead of the standard 1/2 x 3/16 inch and sprockets to match, stronger control cables, crashbars and black leather panniers, and you have the T20M.WD Cub supplied to the French Army.
It had the small T15 Terrier petrol tank, heavyweight front forks, double gusseting under the headstock for added strength and a mounting bracket on the right-hand rear subframe to take an optional high level exhaust. To match the bigger final drive chain, a larger chainguard was fitted with an extra locating bracket on the left side rear subframe. To finish was a small triangular toolbox under the seat, sealed bearings in the wheels, a crankcase undershield and side and centre stands.
