Thought you may like these shots of my Cub and friends. I had a Cub brand new out of the box in 1957, cost £150.00. Don`t ask how much I paid for this as a non runner!
The engine had had a rough time. Note where the Allen screws are, these castings had been burst in the past due to the holes having been filled with sealant, and the hydraulic effect when the screws were wound in to join the crankcase. However, I have run the machine for 2 years now in various VMCC events and rides around the Peak District and it performs well. |
This is my Cub in speedway mode. Last year the Manchester TOMCC did a couple of laps as guests of the Manchester Aces Speedway track. I took the Cub, wet shale is not the easiest of surfaces, but it was great fun.
