Have you seen it, Did you buy it?

Chris Nash sent in this picture of what looks like a well used Terrier race bike that he saw around 4-5 years ago at the Newark winter show. He thinks the chap on the stall was from France.

Does anyone else remember it?
Did anyone actually buy it?
Does anyone know anything about it?

What's the story behind the picture?

This mystery picture looks to be of Roy Peplow and his works Tiger Cub minus its rear tyre, which he's carrying over his shoulder!

It's obviously not stopped him to the amusement of the four onlookers and Roy looks to be enjoying himself in spite of the 'minor' inconvenience.
